Can a video replace your doctor? new celiac study tests virtual care
NCT ID NCT07172555
Summary
This study is testing whether a pre-recorded webinar from a dietitian works as well as a traditional one-on-one appointment for people newly diagnosed with celiac disease. Participants will be assigned to either watch the webinar or have a standard appointment, and researchers will compare their knowledge, symptoms, and diet adherence over six months. The goal is to see if virtual support can provide faster, consistent access to essential dietary guidance for managing this lifelong condition.
