First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether specially grown immune cells from a donor can safely treat viral infections that often occur after a stem cell transplant. These infections can be serious and sometimes don't respond to standard medicines. The approach aims to boost the patient's weakened immune system using the donor's virus-fighting cells. Up to 750 participants will be enrolled to see if this treatment is safe and effective.
