First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study is for children who have had a stem cell transplant and still have a cytomegalovirus or adenovirus infection that won't go away with standard treatment. Researchers want to see if giving special infection-fighting cells from the original donor can safely lower the amount of virus in the blood. The goal is to control the infection and prevent it from coming back.
