First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether specially selected immune cells from a donor can safely treat cytomegalovirus (CMV) and adenovirus infections in children who have had a stem cell transplant. About 42 participants will receive these virus-fighting cells and be monitored for viral load reduction and side effects. The goal is to control the infection when standard antiviral drugs are not working.
