Scientists seek early warning signs for dangerous infections in transplant kids

Summary
This study aims to understand and predict which children are most likely to develop serious respiratory infections after receiving an organ or bone marrow transplant. Researchers will collect nasal swabs and blood samples from up to 2,000 children before and after their transplants to look for patterns. The goal is to develop better tools to identify high-risk patients for closer monitoring.
