NCT ID NCT06815718

First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tested a wearable device called viQtor on 180 adults who had just left the intensive care unit (ICU) and moved to regular hospital wards. The device continuously tracks heart rate, breathing rate, oxygen levels, and activity to create an early warning score. The goal was to see if it could detect signs of a patient getting worse faster than standard periodic checks, potentially preventing unnecessary readmissions to the ICU.
