First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested a wearable device called viQtor on 180 adults who had just left the ICU and were on regular hospital wards. The device continuously measured heart rate, breathing rate, oxygen levels, and activity to create an early warning score. The goal was to see if this could help doctors detect problems sooner and reduce the need for patients to return to the ICU.
