Violet light may keep Kids' eyesight sharp

Summary

This study is testing whether exposure to violet light can slow down or prevent nearsightedness (myopia) in children. Researchers will enroll 72 children aged 5 to 12 who are already nearsighted. They will measure changes in eye length, prescription strength, and vision over time to see if the light helps.
