Local villagers armed with smartphones take on silent killer
NCT ID NCT05684055
Summary
This study tests a new way to manage high blood pressure in rural Lesotho. It trains local village health workers to screen, diagnose, and prescribe basic medication using a smartphone app, all within their communities. The goal is to see if this local care is as good as or better than sending people to distant health clinics for treatment.
