First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study compares two types of video laryngoscope blades (hyperangulated vs. Macintosh) to see which one helps doctors place a breathing tube more successfully on the first try in adults having surgery with general anesthesia. About 524 participants will be randomly assigned to one blade type. The goal is to find out which blade works best for different patients and to create a tool that predicts the best choice for each person.
