Could a simple video recording ease the burden of ALS care?

NCT ID NCT07454733

Summary

This study aims to see if providing video recordings of long, complex clinic visits improves quality of life for people with ALS and their caregivers. It will enroll 400 patient-caregiver pairs to compare standard written visit summaries against summaries plus video recordings over 12 months. The goal is to find the best way to help families remember and manage the large amount of critical care information discussed during appointments.
