Video screen vs. direct view: which gets the breathing tube right faster?

NCT ID NCT06401486

Summary

This study compared two techniques for placing a special double-lumen breathing tube in patients undergoing lung surgery. Researchers tested whether using a video laryngoscope (which shows the airway on a screen) was more successful on the first try than the traditional direct laryngoscope (which requires a direct line of sight). The goal was to find the safest and most reliable method for this complex procedure.
