First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether watching a short educational video can help new mothers feel less anxious and have less pain before their first blood thinner injection after childbirth. 160 women will be randomly assigned to get either the usual explanation or the usual explanation plus the video. The main goal is to see if the video lowers anxiety, with additional checks on pain, satisfaction, and how well they follow the treatment.
