Video games could make knee therapy more fun and effective

NCT ID NCT06090097

Summary

This study is testing whether using video games during physical therapy exercises helps people with knee arthritis more than standard exercises. 60 participants with knee osteoarthritis will do 10 weeks of leg-strengthening exercises, with one group using special sensors and game software while the other follows traditional routines. Researchers will compare how much knee function improves and how engaged people stay with their exercises between the two groups.
