Doctors test video games as physical therapy for kids with cerebral palsy
NCT ID NCT06821815
Summary
This study tested whether playing structured video games could improve movement and daily living skills in children with cerebral palsy as effectively as traditional hand exercises. Twenty children aged 4-18 were split into two groups: one played video games designed for therapy, while the other did standard hand activities. Both groups completed 28 sessions over two weeks, and researchers measured their motor skills before, after, and three months later to see which approach worked better.
