Dental students learn better with video and virtual simulators?

This study looked at whether a new way of teaching dental students—using video feedback and virtual simulation—helps them learn to prepare ceramic veneers better than traditional methods. Forty dental students were split into two groups: one got standard lectures and demonstrations, the other used virtual simulators and reviewed videos of their own practice. Their skills were tested before training and again at 1, 2, and 3 months after. The goal was to see if the combined approach improves both posture and tooth preparation quality.
