NCT ID NCT07279974
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at whether showing patients a short video before hip replacement surgery could reduce their fear of moving after the operation. 96 adults scheduled for hip replacement were split into two groups: one got the usual verbal instructions plus a video, the other got only verbal instructions. The results showed that the video group felt less fear and pain when they first got up to move, helping them recover more easily.
