First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a quick video call with a family member while waiting in the operating room can help lower stress, anxiety, and fear for people having bladder tumor surgery. About 124 adults will take part, with half getting the video call and half receiving standard care. Researchers will measure anxiety, fear, and stress using surveys and blood tests.
