Video coaching gets gallbladder patients moving faster

Summary
This study tests whether showing patients a video about the benefits and steps of early movement before and after gallbladder surgery can improve recovery. 44 adults having laparoscopic gallbladder removal will either get standard care or standard care plus the video and a wearable activity tracker. Researchers will measure stress, pain, nausea, blood sugar, how well patients move, and how long they stay in the hospital.
