Seated vibration boosts stroke recovery in just 4 weeks
NCT ID NCT07554794
First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026
Summary
This study tested a 4-week program of seated vibration training combined with standard rehabilitation in 39 adults who had a stroke at least 6 months earlier. The treatment improved muscle strength in the unaffected leg, daily function, quality of life, and self-esteem. While it did not significantly strengthen the affected leg, the approach offers a safe, easy way to enhance recovery for chronic stroke patients.
