New drug trial aims to protect kidneys from lupus attack

Summary
This study is testing if an experimental drug called VIB4920 can help control kidney damage in people with active lupus nephritis. About 74 participants will receive either VIB4920 or a placebo (inactive substance) through an IV, along with standard medications, to see if it improves kidney function and reduces protein in urine. The main goal is to see if more people achieve a complete kidney response by week 36.
