Scientists track brain tumor growth patterns in rare genetic disease

NCT ID NCT00005902

Summary

This study aims to understand how brain and spinal cord tumors grow in people with von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) disease, a rare genetic condition. Researchers will follow 250 participants aged 8-75 for five years, using regular MRI scans and blood tests to track tumor growth and identify factors that might influence it. The goal is to gather information that could help doctors make better treatment decisions in the future.
