Can a smartwatch and a bike ride help heal Veterans' trauma?

NCT ID NCT06993012

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of a stress-monitoring smartphone app and an intensive group cycling program can help reduce symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression in veterans. Participants will use an app that detects stressful moments via a smartwatch and provides coping tools, while also taking part in a multi-day cycling challenge. The goal is to see if this combined approach improves mental health more than cycling alone or no intervention.
