Summary

This study tested a physical therapy program called Live Long Walk Strong designed to improve walking speed in Veterans aged 50 and older. Researchers wanted to understand which parts of the program worked best and how long the benefits lasted after treatment ended. The 4-year study involved 151 Veterans and measured walking speed, leg strength, and balance to see if this approach could become a standard treatment.
