Massive study investigates war zone air Pollution's toll on Veterans' lungs

Summary
This study aims to understand how exposure to air pollution during military deployment affects lung health in Veterans. Researchers will enroll up to 6,200 Veterans who served in Afghanistan, Iraq, and nearby countries after 9/11. They will measure lung function and link it to detailed records of where and when each person served to assess pollution exposure.
