Inner ear training may help stroke survivors walk safely

Summary

This study tests whether special balance exercises that target the inner ear (vestibular system) can help people who had a stroke walk more safely in their community and reduce their risk of falling. The study will include 40 adults who had a stroke at least 6 months ago and can walk at least 400 meters. Participants will do vestibular training and be measured on walking ability, speed, and confidence.
