Summary

This study follows 32 adults with severe balance disorders caused by inner ear damage, including from certain antibiotics. Participants have already received a vestibular implant, a device that electrically stimulates the balance nerve. Researchers will measure improvements in walking, stability, and quality of life over 4 years. The goal is to see if the implant can provide lasting relief for people with no other effective treatment.
