First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tested a new type of gamma camera called Veriton, which is more sensitive and may produce clearer images than standard cameras. 41 adults scheduled for nuclear medicine exams had scans on both cameras so doctors could compare image quality. The goal was to see if the new camera can provide equal or better pictures, potentially improving diagnosis.
