New hope for chest pain when tests show no blockage

Summary

This study is testing if a medication called vericiguat can improve blood flow in the smallest heart vessels and reduce chest pain in people who have pain but no major artery blockages. It will involve 94 adults with this specific condition, known as coronary microvascular dysfunction. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the study drug or not, and their heart blood flow and symptoms will be measured using scans and questionnaires.
