NCT ID NCT07559422

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether using a special stethoscope simulator (Ventriloscope) helps physical therapy and athletic training students better identify heart and lung sounds. About 60 students will receive both traditional training and the simulator, then be tested on knowledge, skill, and confidence over five months. The goal is to see if the simulator improves learning and if the skills stick around two months later.
