Summary
This study tested two ways to help stroke patients on breathing machines (ventilators) improve their lung function. Forty adults aged 40-60 with acute stroke were given either a ventilator sensitivity adjustment or a threshold breathing exerciser. The goal was to see which method better helped patients wean off the ventilator and improve lung expansion and blood oxygen levels.
