Doctors search for safer breathing settings during common surgeries
NCT ID NCT06625099
Summary
This study observed patients during laparoscopic (keyhole) abdominal surgery to compare two different pressure settings on the breathing machine. Researchers wanted to see how these settings affect the amount of energy delivered to the lungs and the patient's oxygen levels. The goal is to gather information that could help make ventilator use safer during these common operations.
