Breathing breakthrough for tiniest babies?
NCT ID NCT05144724
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether a newer method of helping premature babies breathe right after birth is practical to use. It compared a volume-targeted approach to the standard pressure-guided method during initial care in the delivery room. The goal was to see if the newer method could be correctly performed and if it might lead to better outcomes for these fragile infants.
