New dressing combo shows promise for stubborn leg ulcers
NCT ID NCT06007703
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a special interactive dressing (UrgoStart Plus) used with compression bandages helps heal venous leg ulcers faster than a simple dressing. Sixty adults with these hard-to-heal ulcers were followed for up to 12 weeks. The main goal was to see if the ulcer closed completely, and the study also checked how the ulcer affected patients' quality of life.
