New dressing tested to speed healing of painful leg sores
NCT ID NCT06007703
Summary
This study tested whether a special interactive wound dressing (UrgoStart Plus) used under compression bandages helps heal venous leg ulcers faster. It compared 12-week healing rates in 60 patients using this dressing to similar patients using a standard, non-interactive dressing. The goal was to see if the new approach improves healing for ulcers that are often slow to respond to standard care.
