First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 07, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This study tested a combination of two drugs, venetoclax and decitabine, in people with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or related blood cancers that were either newly diagnosed in older adults or had come back after treatment. The goal was to see how well the drugs worked together to stop cancer growth. The trial was stopped early, but the results help researchers understand how to treat these difficult cancers.
