First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding venetoclax to standard chemotherapy is safe and effective for children and young adults (up to age 22) with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The main goals are to see if the combination helps clear cancer cells that can't be seen under a microscope (called minimal residual disease) and to measure how long patients stay cancer-free. About 70 participants will receive the drug combo during their first round of treatment.
