First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding venetoclax to standard chemotherapy is safe and effective for children and young adults (up to age 22) with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The main goal is to see if the combination can clear even tiny amounts of cancer cells (called minimal residual disease) after the first round of treatment. About 70 participants will receive the drug combo, and researchers will track remission rates and survival over three years.
