New hope for rare leukemia: chemo-free combo shows promise

Summary

This study tests a new treatment for adults with a rare form of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has a specific genetic change. Instead of standard strong chemotherapy, patients receive a combination of drugs including venetoclax. The goal is to see if this approach can achieve remission with fewer side effects. About 40 participants will take part in this phase 2 trial.
