First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This early-phase study tested a combination of two drugs (venetoclax and omacetaxine) in 6 adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) whose cancer had stopped responding to venetoclax. The goal was to find a safe dose and see if the combo could shrink the cancer. The study was small and completed, but results are not yet widely available.
