Summary

This study tested a drug called vemurafenib in 36 adults whose hairy cell leukemia had returned or didn't respond to standard treatments. The main goal was to see how well the drug could eliminate leukemia cells from the blood and how safe it was. Researchers measured the drug's effects over three months and looked for changes in cancer-related proteins.
