First seen Jun 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested a device that shines light through the skin to make veins easier to see when placing an IV in people with obesity. The goal was to see if it could make the procedure faster and easier. However, the study was stopped early after only 2 people took part, so no clear conclusions can be drawn.
