Vein wrap could ease pain after nerve surgery

Summary

This study tests a simple surgery where a piece of the patient's own vein is wrapped around a repaired nerve in the arm. The goal is to reduce scar tissue and painful nerve growths (neuromas) that can cause long-term pain and disability. About 43 adults with recent nerve injuries below the elbow will take part.
