NCT ID NCT06106035

Summary

This 16-week study tested whether following a low-fat vegan diet could help people with type 2 diabetes better control their blood sugar and improve their body's response to insulin. Twenty-six participants received weekly online nutrition classes and dietitian support. Researchers measured changes in body fat, blood sugar levels, and insulin sensitivity before and after the diet.
