First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a 12-week vegan diet can lower inflammation and improve immune markers in adults with mild to moderate asthma, compared to a regular diet. Researchers will measure blood markers of inflammation and allergy in 280 people aged 18-30. Participants will follow either a vegan or omnivorous meal plan with dietitian support. The goal is to see if diet changes can ease asthma-related inflammation.
