First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 31, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests a new drug called vebrekotuzumab, which delivers a powerful cancer-killing agent directly to tumor cells, for people with advanced esophageal cancer that no longer responds to initial treatment. About 104 participants will receive the drug either alone or with an immunotherapy. The goal is to see if this approach can shrink tumors and help patients live longer without their cancer growing.
