First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study aimed to find early genetic markers that could predict vasospasm, a dangerous narrowing of brain arteries, after a bleeding brain aneurysm. Researchers collected blood samples daily from 89 patients for 12 days to analyze their DNA and RNA. The goal was to better understand why some patients develop this complication and to help create more personalized treatments in the future.
