Timing of second blood pressure drug may save lives in septic shock

Summary
This study looks at the best time to add a second blood pressure medicine (vasopressin) for people with life-threatening low blood pressure from severe infection (septic shock). About 2,050 adults in hospital will be treated using either an early or later start of vasopressin. The goal is to see which approach reduces deaths and helps kidneys recover.
