Scientists hunt for genetic clues behind rare, devastating blood vessel diseases
NCT ID NCT01241305
Summary
This study aims to find genes that increase the risk of developing vasculitis, a group of rare and severe diseases that cause inflammation of blood vessels. Researchers will collect DNA and health information from 1,000 people diagnosed with one of six specific types of vasculitis. The goal is to understand the causes of these diseases to help develop better future tests and treatments.
