First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a simple finger device (Vendys II) can measure blood vessel health in children and young adults (ages 6-26) who are getting a stem cell transplant. The device works by briefly stopping blood flow to the finger and then tracking how the blood vessels respond. The goal was to see if this method is practical and useful in this group of patients.
